Erik Ekberg launched his yacht brokerage career at Lyman-Morse, where he played a key role in expanding the company’s sales efforts while also supporting its marketing initiatives. Over the years, he has successfully closed millions of dollars in yacht transactions, earning a reputation for his integrity, market expertise, and hands-on approach to helping clients navigate yacht ownership.

Raised in Massachusetts, Erik spent his summers in Northport, Maine—experiences that sparked a lifelong love for sailing and being on the water. That passion led to time as a sailing instructor, delivery captain, and eventually, the foundation of Ekberg Yachting. Today, Erik holds a 25-ton USCG Master’s License and has logged more than 10,000 offshore nautical miles. His practical experience at sea informs every aspect of his work.

While performance sailboats remain his true passion—especially racing throughout the Gulf of Maine—Erik has come to appreciate the full spectrum of boating. Whether sail or power, classic or cutting-edge, he believes that every boat has a story, and every owner deserves the right support to enjoy it to the fullest. At Ekberg Yachting, he brings that philosophy to life through personalized brokerage, yacht management, and delivery services tailored to each client’s needs.
