Longtime Midcoast Maine broker brings six years of industry experience to independent venture

Camden, ME — January 2, 2026 — Ekberg Yachting, a new full-service yacht brokerage and management firm, has officially launched in Midcoast Maine, offering yacht brokerage, vessel management, delivery, and captain services to owners throughout New England and beyond.

Founded by brothers Erik and Ethan Ekberg, Ekberg Yachting was created to provide a highly personalized, hands-on approach to yacht ownership—combining professional brokerage services with practical, real-world operational experience on the water.

Erik Ekberg brings six years of experience in yacht brokerage and marine marketing, having previously worked with Lyman-Morse Boatbuilding in Camden. During that time, he was involved in yacht sales, client outreach, and marketing initiatives, while also building extensive experience as a licensed captain delivering yachts throughout the Northeast.

“After several years working in brokerage, I saw an opportunity to build something more personal and service-driven,” said Erik Ekberg, Co-Founder of Ekberg Yachting. “Ekberg Yachting was created to give owners a single point of contact—someone who understands both the sales side and the realities of owning, maintaining, and operating a yacht.”
